I am a big shutterbug. I like photography....and no, not in a professional photographer kind of way, but for the last ten years I have been into digital photography, regular photography, and lomography. Most recently, Tuinya gifted me a Nikon D40, a D-SLR camera for my birthday. I love it. Although, I am still learning how to use the camera, I have taken some 500 or so photos, mostly experiments and practice shots. I have posted some of those on this page.

Recently while I was taking a closer look at Picasa Web Albums, I noticed a link for code to embeddable albums. Awesome! So in the spirit of trying everything new on the Internet, here is a Picasa Web Album embedded. These photos are from the recent Diwali party we had at our place. Taken by the Nikon D40. The pictures features friends, Tuinya, and my brother (Bhai). BTW, Picasa does a good job of allowing embeddable albums.

I bought my first digital camera (compact camera, some Olympus model) in 1998. I still can't believe I spent $400 on it (it was <1 megapixel). I then got into toy camera photography in 1999 while I was in Cleveland. I took several photographs with a Holga (Plastic Fantastic), the Micro 110 Keychain Camera, and the Lomo-LCA.
